Maywan Tang, Office Manager / Administrative Assistant
As the Office Manager at Baker, Chi, and Parkey, Maywan Tang handles a variety of responsibilities, including administrative support, overseeing office operations, coordinating client meetings, managing the intake process for prospective clients, and processing payroll.
After starting with the firm in a seasonal role in 2016, she became a full-time office manager in 2019, and her approach to client service is rooted in attentive listening and asking clarifying questions to ensure that clients' needs are met effectively. If a client's request falls outside her expertise, she connects them with the appropriate team member who can assist. Maywan enjoys getting to work with the diverse range of individuals and businesses the firm serves.
Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Human Development. Although she didn’t formally study accounting, she appreciates the opportunity to apply her organizational skills in the field. She has also completed specialized training, including a 40-hour sexual assault counselor program, which adds to her breadth of experience.
Maywan finds fulfillment in contributing to the success of both her colleagues and clients. She values the supportive environment at Baker, Chi, and Parkey, where feedback is welcomed, and collaboration is key. Outside of work, Maywan enjoys making art, watching movies and dramas, listening to music, exercising, and experimenting with new foods through both cooking and dining out.
