Diego Lopez Jacinto, Staff Accountant

Diego Lopez Jacinto is a Staff Accountant at Baker, Chi, and Parkey, where he has been contributing his expertise since January 2024. In his role, Diego prepares tax returns for individuals, corporations, and trusts, provides detailed bookkeeping for hands-on clients, and creates tax projections to help clients make informed financial decisions.

Diego’s approach to client service is driven by a commitment to diligence and integrity, guided by the principle, “How would I want my work to be prepared?” He enjoys working with small businesses and individuals, as it allows him to develop a personalized understanding of his clients’ needs and perspectives. Diego finds fulfillment in the ever-evolving nature of accounting, where clients’ questions often lead him to explore new concepts, making continuous learning an integral part of his work.

Diego holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accountancy and is actively pursuing his CPA license, aiming to complete all four exams by the end of the year. His guiding philosophy is, "Accounting is not just about counting beans; it’s about making every bean count," a reflection of the resourcefulness instilled in him from a young age.

Outside of work, Diego enjoys running, playing tennis, and learning Japanese, inspired by his love for anime. His goal is to one day watch an episode without needing subtitles.
